We decided that we wanted to do a few of the projects for the house ourselves to save money and have them done the way we wanted – mostly to increase the value of our house without spending a fortune to do it… the stair railing was one of those projects.
Jordan and his Dad have been working so hard for weeks to get this railing ready and this weekend they put it in… and it looks beautiful! All that hard work paid off cause it is gorgeous!
Another special part of the stair railing is that I wanted to add a little part of Canada to the house, so I got a Loonie and I put it in the bottom of the stair railing. Hopefully that Loonie will be a “Lucky Loonie” and we’ll always have good fortune in that house!

Well done Jordan... I have to admit I'm pretty impressed! I love the wood color and the iron detailing. That lucky loonie is going to bring all sorts of good surprises... maybe some of it will rub off on me. I'm so excited to come visit you!!!
